My story

After leaving high school, I joined Starr Productions as a Trainee Technical Operator, where I learned the rudiments of studio operations and gained valuable skills in directing, producing, filming and voicing. This training would serve me well during my nineteen years at CCN TV6, which was spent expanding my knowledge and experience in television production. As a Senior Technical Operator at TV6, I refined my skills as a videographer, linear and avid non-linear editing, and as a professional voice—voicing commercials and station IDs. In 2001,

I left TV6 to pursue interests in IT and Web Design, but kept developing my video production skills, learning Final Cut Pro and other video editing programs as a freelance technical operator. Having spent most of my life in the field, I am now giving of my time to pass on the wealth of knowledge I’ve gained in video production as the Film instructor for CAPE Digital Media.
